Our Story

Garden School is proud to be the home of "BUCKY"- our school Mascot. We are proud to be called the Garden School Gophers!!!  Our school colors are royal blue and yellow and we have an enrollment of over 700 students each year. We serve grades preschool - 6th here on our campus. At Garden School we are not only committed to students - we are committed to our parents! We strive every year to make the home and school connection strong.

Our Vision

The vision of the Garden School community is to provide the support services and instructional strategies that will enable all students, including those with special needs and English language learners, to realize their potential as learners in a safe and secure environment. Included in that vision is the commitment to a strong instructional program based on the direction of the state's curriculum frameworks, articulated consistently among all grade levels, delivered in an effective manner, and supported by adequate resources.

Our Commitment

Our commitment to parent involvement and utilization of community resources will enable our students to transition from home to the school environment with ease. Combining high academic and behavioral expectations while accommodating individual social and emotional needs will allow all students the opportunities they need to achieve.

Tremendous Parental Support

Garden School has tremendous parent involvement. We encourage parent volunteers at every grade level to be involved in an active way in the education of their child at school. Every month parents, students, and teachers from each classroom attend the student-of-the-month breakfast to recognize outstanding citizens.

Our PTO and SSC/ELAC groups meet regularly, and the PTO fall carnival is always a huge success, with hundreds of people in attendance every year. Our parent surveys indicate overwhelming positive support for Garden School.
